State Protective Home, Jalandhar is established under S.I.T. Act, 1956 to prevent sexual exploitation of women and girls. This is a corrective institution.
In the institution, admission is granted to women above 18 years who are in need of care and protection or women, who come with the order of Hon’ble court.
Residents of home are provided educational as well as vocational training. Rupees 2000 per inmate is spent for basic needs.
