The Punjab Government has launched a scheme " The Punjab Financial Assistance to Acid Victim Scheme, 2017".
Objective:
The objective of this Scheme is to provide monthly Financial Assistance to female who, due to acid attack has been rendered 40 % disabled.
Benefits.
The Financial Assistance of Rs. 8,000 per month to rehabilitate the victims of acid attack
Eligibility
1. The acid attack victim should be a resident of Punjab State.
2. The application is to be submitted to District Social Security Officer.
3. The application must be supported by medical certificate duly issued by the Civil Surgeon.
Mode of application.
The victim or victm's parents/ guardian/ legal heir/ family member/ any relative may submit an application to the concerned District Social Security Officer.
Documents required.
An applicant shall be required to submit the following documents with the application:-
1. Medical Certificate
2. Copy of FIR
3. An attested copy of one document out of voter list, Electoral Photo Identity Card, Aadhar card, Passport, Driving License, Residence certificate.
4. Bank Account details.
Mode of Payment.
The amount of payment directly transfers in the account of the beneficiary by directorate through online.
