This centrally sponsored scheme, it is being run in all the districts of Punjab to uplift the nutritional and health status of pregnant ladies, nursing mothers and infants since 01/01/17.
Under the scheme, women of 19 years of age and above at the birth of their first live child, will receive Rs. 5000/- in three installments, (Rs.1000+2000+ 2000) subject to the fulfillment of specific conditions under the scheme. Financial disbursement is being done directly into the accounts of the beneficiaries.
Central share: 60%
State share: 40%

Eligibility
Pregnant women of 19 years and above should not have a government job and not be a income tax payee.

Required M.C.P. Card , Aadhaar card, Husband’s Aadhaar card, bank account no. of mother and prescribed proformas.
